Feeding recommendation for dogs:

0-15 kg : up to 3 g per day
15-30 kg : up to 5 g per day
30+ kg : up to 10 g per day

Feeding instructions for horses:

Horses : up to 50 g per day
Ponies : up to 25 g per day

Parts of this mixture are considered doping-relevant. A waiting period of 3 days must be observed.

APPLICATION: Mix the herbal powder dry with the daily feed or moisten it with water. Tip: Alternatively, the herbal powder can be prepared briefly with warm water as tea. Use the tea water to soak a mash or to moisten dry food.

As a cure treatment for max. 6 weeks feeding. Please note, however: In acute cases, feeding herbs never replaces diagnosis and treatment at the veterinarian.

The nettle (Urtica dioica) is rich in vitamin C, silicon and iron. Nettle leaves have a blood-thinning effect and provide more mobility in this mixture. The plant stimulates the metabolism and blood circulation and has a diuretic, detoxifying and blood purifying effect. Arthrosis and arthritis can be alleviated with their help and the toxic by-products of the inflammation can be excreted with the urine. The contained magnesium has an additional positive effect on the muscle metabolism, silicon strengthens the connective tissue and the skin. Chronic complaints of the respiratory, digestive and locomotor system can also be treated with nettles. They improve blood circulation in swollen legs and draw stored water from the tissue. The plant helps weakened animals to a better general feeling.

Rosehip(Rosa canina) is valued for its very high vitamin C content. 100 g fresh rose hips contain up to 5,000 mg vitamin C, which strengthens and builds up the immune system. Animals usually like the slightly sour taste very much.

Ginger(Zingiber officinale) has a number of positive properties: it strengthens the immune system, boosts the metabolism, relieves pain from inflammation and stomach ailments. The gingerols and shaogols it contains inhibit the pain-inducing enzyme cyclooxygenase, just as the active ingredient in aspirin does. It is successfully used for osteoarthritis, which is characterized by inflammatory processes in the joints. Ginger even has a double effect here: it slows down the inflammatory processes and simultaneously acts against the pain as a symptom.

Devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) contains phenylpropanoids such as flavonoids, acteoside and triterpenes, unsaturated fatty acids, cinnamic acid and chlorogenic acid. Devil’s claw has a strong anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. It is therefore preferably used in the treatment of arthrosis and joint pain. It also has a blood-thinning effect, which is particularly desirable for older animals with circulation problems or tarnished legs.

Willow bark (Salix alba) helps primarily against rheumatic diseases and inflammatory processes. The main active ingredient in willow is salicin, which occurs in synthetic form in the painkiller aspirin. In fact, extracts of willow bark have been used for centuries for pain and fever. In our mixture the willow bark serves as a natural painkiller.

Meadowsweet(Spiraea ulmaria) is like the willow bark a natural painkiller. It is excellent for colds or flu-like infections, it lowers fever and relieves pain. The detoxifying and diuretic effect lets the herb also help with problems of the urinary apparatus and metabolism. Of this plant, mainly the flowers and the roots are used. However, most of the ingredients are found in the flowers. The essential oil contained is composed of substances such as salicyl aldehyde and methyl ester of salicylic acid. Flavonoids and various tanning agents also occur.
